Minehead is the perfect place from which to explore the South West Coastal Path, Exmoor and the surrounding area. The town centre has many pubs and restaurants, all within walking distance of Butlins. For a very good carvery or pub meal, and excellent outdoor fun for the kids, we recommend The Hairy Dog on Minehead High Street. Nearby Mullions Restaurant serves an excellent A La Carte menu with a very warm welcome. Minehead is on the edge of Exmoor and is the home of many beautiful villages such as Porlock and Dunster. If you like walking, the South West Coast Path will take you along North Hill towards Porlock.
